Defensive Shotgun

This class will take you through the fundamentals of the home defense shotgun. Topics covered will include accessorizing your shotgun, ammo types, barrel length, home defense considerations. There will also be an intense live fire portion of the class that will cover; patterning loads, multiple round engagements, reloading, multiple threats, and the use of cover and concealment to name a few. Ultimately this course will cover a broad range of topics and dispel some common myths behind one of the most common home defense tools in America.

Required Gear List:

• Pump or semi-automatic shotgun
• Eye and ear protection (rental available)
• 75 rounds buckshot (discount available through Angel Fire ammo)
• 5 rounds foster/deer slug (purchase available in store)
• Closed toed shoes
• Side saddle or slip over shell carrier
